This section was made to compile the first characters introduced in TTL. It will NOT include all, just the important ones from the start.
Justin (Birthday- June 19)Justin-Ivan Labilles is the creator of The Travel Log. Methodical and always thinking, Justin is known to be very shrewd, crafty, and always has a plan in action. He is the primary leader, and is always using his wide creativity to offset his terribly bad luck. As such, his mindset and personality is shaped heavily by overarching plans and risky strategies, most of which don't take the safety of the others in consideration. While not the most trustworthy member of the cast, he is certainly one of the more reliable to get results. Now the results can be good or bad, but then there was the Justinpocalypse back in Season 9 where he was cloned to monstrous amounts, almost taking over the world by accident. We don't talk about that anymore. No one wants to.
Timothy "Tim" Traveler is Justin's childhood friend, and a pretty annoying one in fact. Quick-witted, foul mouthed, and known as the literal bullet sponge, Tim always tries to get in Justin's way no matter the cost, which often leads to many deaths due to deviation from the plans. His sense of competition is very high, and his physical strength isn't something to be messed with either. He's survived torture, environmental disasters, and the wrath of an angry chicken cult, and yet he still persists in trying to one-up Justin. While he may seem brash at times, Tim is known to have compassion for his other members, with judgement that puts others before him in dire times.
Esther "Est" Williams is a farmer, childhood friend of Justin and Tim, and the adoptive mother of Anna. Her parents went to the city at a young age, forcing her to learn as many life skills as she could, becoming a masterful cook and doctor in the process. She may appear young due to her short stature, but Esther is older than most of the cast, and acts as a maternal figure to the cast, harboring a kind and down to heart personality. She also has a very big obsession with Chickens, and is currently on a quest to hunt down and shut down an international vigilante group known as the Chicken Collaborative Collection, yet her pacifistic nature usually impedes her own efforts.
Anna Marie Mendezoa is a mysterious girl first found in a forest by herself, then later adopted by Esther. Her parents supposedly dead or missing, she was forced to survive by herself, and passed the test with flying colors. Anna isn't one to really talk about her past much, but boy can she monologue to herself. She came packing with a Bow and Arrow, and is a skilled trapper, tracker, archer, hunter, you name it. She gives off a very cold reception to friend and foe alike, preferring to work alone rather than in groups, yet can be counted on as a reliable member of the team with the highest survival rate of the original series.
That Awesome Guy has the most unfortunate/unique name of all time. Born with the first name "That", he is extremely popular with the fans for some odd reason, considering that he is literally the epitome of generic male anime protagonist. He has a crush on the girl, isn't afraid to show it, and would probably jump off a cliff for her. Outside of that, That can have his redeeming moments, yet his frequently overshadowed by the others.
Charlie- Birthday- September 7)
Charlie Luna Stagiz is known as the one of the only two backstage crew members in the lifespan of The Travel Log. As such, he goes relatively unknown with The Announcer for the majority of the time. His is often seen as a guide or mentor to the cast, and always puts the team effort before the individual in his choices. His personality is serious, and always focused on whatever task is set before him. He isn't fond of small talk, and keeps his own problems to himself, yet his stern demeanor hides a very smart mind, one that could rival Justin's, if he wasn't the one conducting the series.
Arnold (Birthday- January 9)
Arnold "Announcer" Swagginator is the official announcer for TTL and TTL: TSE. Aside from his name, much isn't known about the Announcer, as his position in the sound and directing booth has always kept everything about him a secret. His role is to call out any big events during the season, conducting weather alerts or confirming deaths, along with the occasional monologue every arc or so. Don't let his deep and probably fake voice fool you though: he has no power over how the series ends, he only has the power to announce.
Emily (Birthday- November 13)
Emily Sola Stagiz is
the younger sister of Charlie and runs the family business, Stagiz
Station. She is a very bubbly, energetic, and fiercely devoted girl who
takes after her brother's work etiquette. A polar opposite of her brother, her optimism and positive nature offsets the negativity frequently displayed by the main cast. She is very attentive the detail, and can lecture about many miscellaneous subjects if
left to do so. She reprises her role from the original series as a supplier of just about anything the cast needs, from food to firearms, and always aims to secure the happiness of her customers.
Side/Less Important Characters
Casey- A previous cast member back in the original series. He was a notorious drug dealer, yet has gone MIA ever since the end of Season 10, presumably in hiding after his stay in solitary confinement. Rumors of his escape still exist, yet no one has been able to confirm or deny the possibility yet.
Ivory Capulet- A previous fan made cast member back in the original series. She is very obsessed with Charlie, and will do anything to be with him, even going as far to kill if his life is threatened. This is due to her bipolar disorder, compounded with a very fragile emotional state. She became an odd-jobber after the original series, and was known to disappear at times, currently off the grid.
Stephanie Reed- A previous cast member back in the original series. She is a skilled demolition expert, being a miner for the possibility of gold and riches. She holds a grudge against Justin after losing in a (Rigged) duel a la Hamilton. (Except one person had a sword, the other had a gun. You can guess who had what.) Rumored to be in training, probably getting ready for a rematch in the future.
The Kid- A previous cast member back in the original series. That Guy's long-lost cousin, almost a replica in personality with him. Besides wanting to go bowling with him all the time, he is vying for attention all the time. He hasn't been seen since Season 10.
The CCC- A vigilante farm group mainly consisting of chickens. Initially under Esther, they turned violent against the cast after most of them escaped her grasp. They are still on the loose, with Esther hunting the majority of them down. They have a certain grudge against Tim for some reason... but still focus on eliminating any cast member when they can.
