A Note From the Author

This whole project first started in 2013, based on the computer game The Oregon Trail. For those of you who haven't played it or don't know about it, I'll give you a rundown. It was basically a big migration in the USA, from the middle to the west side of the states, namely in the state of Oregon. It was a long and dangerous journey, with the majority of the travelers dying along the way. Bandits, disease, lack of supplies, and many other conditions led to their eventual demise. Months and months on end in a single wagon, and those lucky to survive got their own share of private land to claim as their. The price to pay, however, could even be your life. It was one of the most grueling trips in the whole entire world, and yet, many still attempted it in hopes of a better lifestyle.

It currently is the 21st century. Technology is at it's finest when it comes to cell phones and other useless equipment. In that time, there was a well-known show on the T.V. and internet. It's name, was The Travel Log. Run by the director and producer of the show, Justin, it went on for a total of ten seasons, and was famed by the people as one of the best shows in the world. Now let's go over some of the more important points in the past. There was always a usual cast of 5 people, and one guest each season, making for a total of 6 unique characters to do stupid stuff with. Specifically, the biggest and most important seasons were 9 and 10, with 9 having Time-Travel Shenanigans, resulting in the worst accident that ever came to happen in the world. The Justinpocalypse. You'll learn who Justin is, soon enough though. Think of a fully-conscious infinite army of cloned idiots banding together to destroy humanity for no reason at all. Yep. Season 10 wasn't as bad in comparison, with all the past cast returning again for a whopping 20+ crew. Many horrible deaths ensued. All in all, most of the chaos was then fixed.

Now let's cover some of the more important parts of the past. Season 2 had TG somehow take photos of Anna while she was showering, then sold the pictures on DBay. So her personal life was ruined, and a grudge started. Season 3 introduced special guests, where most of the side characters come from. Season 9 then had Time-Travel, all thanks to Justin, which resulted in some disastrous crap going down. Then Season 10 was the finale, which basically resulted in everyone dying for no good reason at all.

After the tenth season, the contacts ran short and the cast went their separate ways. Only about half the cast was then sent to jail. The others either went to rehab, in hiding, and the others continued on with their normal lives. Five years have past since then. The world has mostly forgotten of TTL and it's people, but the insane mastermind behind it all, Justin, isn't going to give up just yet. He plans to get the cast together for one last try...
The revival... was to be called The Travel Log: The Second Expansion, Take Two- Remixed and Remastered_Actual Story Edition.

Unfortunately, things are not as easy as it seems when about person on the cast is a complete idiot. For the ten seasons that the Original Series of TTL ran, almost each one ended with premature death, diseases, and bad memories all together. Many lawsuits, arrests, and funerals were given every try to beat The Oregon Trail. But to no avail, the journey was never completed. The reason why this whole thing happened? Justin was poor, he needed money, and a reality show seemed easy enough.
He couldn't have been more wrong at all.

I'd like to dedicate this to Zack, Seth, Jared, James, Casey, and my imagination for creating this series. Without them, things probably couldn't have even started without their inspiration. This is to all of you guys who don't believe in yourself as a writer, or an artist, or a writing artist, or... well, you get the point. So what if it's bad? It's still your work, and if somebody appreciates it, then you should be happy. But most of all, if you yourself are having a fun time writing it, creating the universe and the characters with it, then you should be happy. And thank you reader for all the support you've already given me by visiting this blog. Keep Cruzin' along to everyone out there.
